K9 Superpowers

K9 Super Senses
K9's ability to detect and focus through all the white noise assaulting their senses is far superior to ours. This allows them to track and find people, evidence, dangerous substances, and alert handlers to even subtle, hormonal changes emitting from potentially dangerous individuals. And they're fast!
1
Super Hearing
Dogs can hear sounds at much higher and lower frequencies than humans, and can hear sounds four times further away as well. Their ability to pinpoint the source of a sound is significantly better. Their ears are better designed to gather more available sound waves. They have 15 muscles that move their ears in different directions, and they can move each ear independent of the other one.

2
Super Sight
Dogs have a wider angle of view. Their field of vision from each eye doesn't overlap as much as ours. Less of what they see is in focus, however, they can see further around them, and they notice the slightest movement.
Dogs see color and their night vision is better than ours. They have an additional reflective layer that brings light further back into their receptor cells, increasing their night vision.

3
Super Smell
Dogs sense of smell is 100,000 times more powerful than us, and scientists believe dogs have nearly 2 billion olfactory receptors.
We only have 40 million receptors.
They also use a much larger area of their
brain to process and identify smells.
