In July 2025, K9 Hero Zeke, a 2 1/2 year old German Shepherd, was the newest K9 sworn into the department.

K9 Hero Zeke joined Officer Tyler Hatcher on duty. 

He is certified by the State of WA for both Patrol Duties and Narcotics Detection.

​Their previous K9 Hero T-Bone served the City 2016 - 2025. During his incredible career, he detected and helped officers remove an impressive amount of narcotics from being distributed throughout the community, and our entire county, significantly reducing suffering, and potentially saving many lives.
